Profile –

伊藤 国史 [ KUNIHITO ITO ]
ニューヨークのPratt institute大学院、デンマークインスティテュートにてインテリアデザインを学ぶ。
2003年デンマークDISコンペティショングランプリ受賞。
ニューヨークの建築事務所S+D Studio, Gabellini and Shepardにてデザイナーとしての経験を積む。
帰国後、メックデザインインターナショナルを経て、2010年Verse設立。

After studying at Pratt Institute Graduate School of Interior Architecture in New York and the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen, Kunihito worked at architectural design firm S+D Studio and Gabellini Sheppard Associates in New York, and MEC Design International Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Estate Company Ltd, in Tokyo on private residential work, executive office designs and public institutes.
In 2010, he founded Verse inc. with his partner Sayuri.

木田 小百合 [ SAYURI KIDA ]
父は建築家、母はアートギャラリーを経営し、デザインとアートに囲まれて育つ。
祖父は20世紀建築の巨匠ル・コルビジェの弟子坂倉準三、曽祖父は文化学院創立者の西村伊作。
親戚はアメリカ、ヨーロッパ各地に住む国際派ファミリーで、幼少より日本語、英語、フランス語の中で育ち、世界各地を巡る。
シアトルのPacific Lutheran University芸術科卒業、ニューヨークのパーソンズ大学にてインテリアを学ぶ。
卒業後、ニューヨークのインテリアデザイン事務所Studio GAIA，YabuPushelberg等にて数々のホテルやレストラン、店舗のデザインに携わる。2007年帰国、Casappo&Associateを経て、2010年伊藤国史と共にVerse設立。

Art and design is a strong tradition in Sayuri’s family, whose father is an architect and mother owns an art gallery in Tokyo. Her grandfather is Junzo Sakakura, who was studio chief at 20th century master architect Le Corbusier’s atelier in Paris.
A well-travelled childhood has enabled Sayuri to speak English, Japanese and French. She studied at Parsons School of Design in New York before working for Studio GAIA and Yabu Pushelberg designing luxury hotels, restaurants and high-end boutiques around the world.
She returned to Japan in 2007 to work with Casappo & Associates before founding Verse inc. with Kunihito in 2010.
